Mark Pocan Slams Colleague for Speaking Out AGAINST Anti-Semitism

Democratic Wisconsin Congressman Mark Pocan, who is known for his intemperate posts on social media, is criticizing a colleague for speaking out against anti-Semitism. It all started because Republican Wisconsin Congressman Derrick Van Orden has been speaking out against Democratic members of Congress for their extreme reactions to the Hamas terrorist attacks, which have, in some cases, criticized Israel. Pocan wrote, "Apologies for my ill-informed colleague from WI... He doesn’t speak for us. @derrickvanorden’s bigoted religious rhetoric is his own. Wisconsin is better than him." He also trashed Van Orden as not really being from Wisconsin when, actually, Van Orden lives on a farm in the La Crosse area of Wisconsin. He and his wife opened a cafe in Butternut, Wisconsin. It should be noted that what Pocan labels "bigoted religious rhetoric" was Van Orden criticizing anti-Semitism. He was responding to a tweet that Van Orden wrote that said, "There is no place in congress for antisemites. This woman is supporting a terrorist organization under the guise of humanitarianism." https://twitter.com/derrickvanorden/status/1718688373353656390 Van Orden shared a story headlined, "Squad Member Warns Biden He May Lose the Muslim Vote With Response to Iraq War: 'Be Careful.'" Pocan has recently written posts critical of Israel's response to the terrorist attacks. "In @Israel ’s collective punishment of Gaza, 1000’s more will be killed or made permanently homeless, due to the imbalance of power Israel holds over an open air prison like Gaza. Israel threatens their own future with this wholesale destruction. This is not targeting Hamas. ☮️" he wrote. He also criticized Van Orden for visiting Israel and has called on President Biden to send more money to Gaza. Van Orden made the comments as continued reports of the Hamas' terrorists' atrocities against men, women, the elderly, and children civilians continue to roll in. Indeed, left-wing media has been busy writing stories to Biden warning him that being too pro Israel could cost him the election by siphoning away Muslim votes. A federal prisoner was charged on Friday with attempted murder in the brutal prison stabbing of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of killing George Floyd. Federal Probe Centers on Milwaukee City Council Approval Of Concert Facility In Deer District: Mark Belling

By Mark Belling, WISN-AM A federal grand jury investigation is focusing on approval by the Milwaukee Common Council of the proposed concert venue to be built near Fiserv Forum in the Deer District. The existence of the federal probe was first reported by me on Friday November 10. I have learned that the ongoing probe is focused on two Milwaukee aldermen who reversed their original opposition to the project. I am not naming the aldermen as they have not been charged but I am aware of who they are. The 4,000 seat concert venue is to be built by Madison's Frank Productions, which is owned by the national music promoter Live Nation. The president of Frank Productions is Joel Plant. The firm retained prominent lobbyist Buddy Julius in the weeks before it obtained council approval. The land on which the facility is to be built is owned by the Milwaukee Bucks. We're old enough to remember when American hostages held by terrorist groups overseas were big national stories, their names known by every American through wall-to-wall media coverage; their release sought through aggressive pressure by U.S. presidents, local politicians, and the media. Terry Anderson , the Associated Press journalist kidnapped by Hezbollah in 1985, comes to mind. Or Kevin Hermening, A hostage held captive during the Iranian hostage crisis. Or Daniel Pearl , murdered after being taken hostage in Pakistan. Yet it's surprisingly extremely difficult to find a list of the six Americans held hostage by Hamas, as of Jan. 19, if you don't already know their names.
