Gov. Tony Evers Defends Commissioners Accused of Lawbreaking

Image
Faced with an elected sheriff's painstakingly documented evidence alleging that Wisconsin Election commissioners - including two major Joe Biden donors - blatantly violated state law, Gov. Tony Evers trashed Republicans and defended the commissioners. Meanwhile, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos on Thursday led the chorus of Republicans who said WEC Administrator Meagan Wolfe must resign following claims from the Racine County sheriff that the commission broke state law last year. It appears that the state's top Democrats are okay with the Wisconsin Election Commission and its unelected members unilaterally usurping the state Legislature and deciding which laws to simply ignore, according to a state audit and the sheriff. That's even though the governor's own office had instructed the WEC that the law in question - on sending special voting deputies to nursing homes - could not be simply disregarded. The WEC is an agency under Evers. There is no sign that Attorney Gene...

Election Commissioners Committed Criminal Fraud, Says Racine County Sheriff

The Wisconsin Election Commission blatantly and openly violated state law and committed felony crimes throughout the state of Wisconsin by ordering that special voting deputies should not go into nursing homes during the 2020 presidential election, as required by statutes, the Racine County Sheriff said in a bombshell news conference on October 28, 2021, calling on Attorney General Josh Kaul to immediately launch a statewide criminal investigation. Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling and his investigator Sgt. Mike Luell, who is a former prosecutor, repeatedly said in the Racine County Sheriff press conference that they believe the Commission members – who included two major Joe Biden donors, Mark Thomsen and Ann Jacobs, acting as chair and co-chair – committed the crime of election fraud. Schmaling and Luell said that elderly nursing home residents at Ridgewood Health Care center in Mount Pleasant were victimized by the lawbreaking because staff members helped residents c...

Wisconsin DHS Stonewalling Questions About COVID Booster Shots

Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services is stonewalling requests for answers about COVID booster shots in the state. The Center Square has repeatedly reached out to DHS with questions about the number of COVID boosters administered, how booster shots are being counted, and whether people in Wisconsin will be considered “fully vaccinated” after two doses of the coronavirus vaccine, or if they will need a booster. Wisconsin DHS has not responded. DHS is silent about how many booster doses Wisconsin has received, how many booster doses doctors and nurses have administered, and how many booster doses the state hopes to deliver. Brett Healy, president of the MacIver Institute for Public Policy, which has tracked coronavirus and vaccine numbers in the state since the beginning of the outbreak, says DHS’s silence is telling. “Rather than be transparent and open with the public they claim to serve, DHS is, once again, refusing to answer some basic questions about a major policy cha...

"Shoot yourself": Threatening Mequon Recall Letter Targeting Mom Reported to Police

Image
Vile posts about Johnson have also been posted online by a woman named Jessica Key to a group called Donges Bay Parents. She trashed Johnson's mother and her hair and said she “could hook her up with a Dominican that can match her hair and teach her about her heritage..." A threatening letter urging a key Mequon-Thiensville school board recall organizer to shoot herself has been reported to the police. The racist letter refers to the "gene pool" of the Hispanic mom, calling her family "Neanderthals." The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel incited the hatred being directed against Scarlett Johnson by publishing a story misleadingly implying the Hispanic mom of five is a white supremacist. She is obviously not. This has sparked a flurry of vile abuse directed by recall opponents toward Johnson, but the Journal Sentinel has remained silent on the threats ( despite publishing a big story about unrelated threats directed at Milwaukee's election supervisor ov...

Children COVID Vaccinations: White House Announces Rollout Plan for Ages 5-11

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said her agency would still recommend masks for vaccinated students in schools. The White House announced Wednesday new plans for the “potential authorization” of children COVID vaccinations for ages 5-11, saying they have enough vaccinations ready and waiting for the federal approval. The White House prep suggests they expect favorable federal approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) despite hesitation from health officials earlier this year. “We expect the FDA and CDC’s decision on Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 through 11 in the next couple of weeks,” White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff Zients said during a White House teleconference Wednesday. “First, on supply: We have secured vaccine supply to vaccinate every child ages 5 through 11. And as soon as the vaccine is authorized by the FDA, we will begin shipping millions of doses nationwide.” ...

Colin Powell Dies at 84 After COVID Complications

Powell had been fully vaccinated. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell, 84, has died after complications from COVID-19. Powell’s family issued a statement Monday announcing his passing and thanking others for their support. "We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment,” Powell’s family said in the statement, adding that he had been fully vaccinated. “We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American." Powell served as Secretary of State in former President George W. Bush’s administration, helping it through the response to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the following wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of Colin Powell. He was a great public servant, starting with his time as a soldier during Vietnam,” Bush said. “He was such a favorite of Presidents that he earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom – twice. He was highly resp...

Trump Drops Sean Duffy Grenade Into Middle of Wisconsin Governor's Race

Image
When Duffy stepped down as a Congressman, he cited family concerns because he and his wife were having a special needs child. President Donald Trump dropped a grenade into the middle of the Wisconsin governor's race, releasing a statement that openly urges former Congressman Sean Duffy to run for governor against Democrat Tony Evers. Duffy and his wife recently purchased a home in New Jersey. In September, he and his wife sold their Wausau home. Thus, it was believed that he was not interested in running for governor. However, Wispolitics.com cited an anonymous source who said Duffy is now considering a run for governor because of Trump's statement. Trump, if he runs in 2024, has a stake in the outcome of the governor's race because a strong pro-Trump Republican in the Wisconsin governor's mansion could help him win the battleground state. There are two declared candidates in the race on the Republican side: former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and businessman...

SHOWDOWN: Senator Cruz Event Moved Off UW-Madison Campus Over Mask Mandate

Image
In a last-minute move, the speaking event was switched to another venue. We found video of UW-Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank speaking without a mask and standing in close proximity to other people. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz called out UW-Madison for trying to silence conservative speech on campus and having a politicized double standard after the provost refused to grant Cruz and conservative author/radio host Michael Knowles an exemption from the mask mandate that exists for artistic performances. As a result, the event was hastily moved off campus, but the university then wouldn't give organizers the RSVP list so they could let attendees know about the venue change, Cruz said. "Multiple speakers on campus haven't worn a mask," claimed Cruz, pointing out, "This weekend, they had 75,000 football fans ... cheering, imbibing" without masks. He questioned why they "didn't pose a health threat, but the two of us are lethal." https://twitter...

Children’s Wisconsin Employees Create 'Stop the Mandate!' Video [WATCH]

Image
If you are a Children's Wisconsin employee who has decided not to take the COVID-19 vaccine and want to come forward with your story, please email us at: jim.wirightnow@gmail.com Children's Wisconsin nurses and other healthcare workers have produced a 'Stop the Mandate" video showing powerful stories from employees who are refusing to be vaccinated. Children’s Wisconsin will require all staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Nov. 15, 2021. The requirement applies to all team members, whether or not they provide direct patient care and whether they work at a Children's location or remotely. This includes all employees, physicians, other providers, learners, contractors and volunteers, according to the hospital. The video shows the human side of those who face losing their jobs by refusing the mandate, although it features the stories, but not the names and faces, of the affected workers who oppose the vaccine mandate many in the name of what they describe...

Gas Prices Reach New Heights As Biden Considers More Energy Producer Regulations

“Certainly, we all want to keep gasoline prices low, but the threat of the crisis – the climate crisis – certainly can’t wait any longer” -White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki Gas prices nationwide have skyrocketed as the Biden administration considers new energy regulations, raising questions about the energy markets and the federal government’s role in protecting consumer costs. In Manhattan, gas prices have hit nearly $5 per gallon, while more than 40 states are experiencing gas prices over $3 per gallon. GasBuddy reports the national average for gasoline is at $3.25 per gallon, well above the prices from the same time last year. “Now in a single day, American drivers are paying over $400 million more for gas than they were last year,” the company said. Prices have risen nearly eight cents in the last month alone. Industry insiders have laid the blame for rising energy costs at the feet of President Joe Biden, citing increased regulations. The Biden administration has ...

Wisconsin Rep. Janel Brandtjen: Justice Gableman Doesn't Speak For Me

Image
“I do not approve of the current list of subpoenas to the five Wisconsin Mayors, as this provides immunity to them in any trial or criminal proceedings.” -Rep. Janel Brandtjen The top Republican on the Wisconsin Assembly’s election committee says the special investigator looking into last fall’s vote doesn’t speak for her. Rep. Janel Brandtjen , R-Menomonee Falls, on Monday released a statement saying she opposes any deals with the mayors of the so-called Wisconsin Five , and is not a part of former Supreme Court Justice Mike Gableman’s investigation. Gableman put out this YouTube video over the weekend saying that if Wisconsin’s election laws weren’t broken last year, then local election managers certainly stretched them to nearly the breaking point. https://youtu.be/352AnQI5Wgs   Brandtjen has been running her own investigation through her committee since January. She too is focusing on the Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life . And she too wants answe...

Milwaukee County Supervisor Ryan Clancy Trolls Jackson WI Police, Gets Roasted Instead

Image
"My bad! It’s easy to confuse those small-town police departments with ours here in Wississippi." - Milwaukee County Supervisor Ryan Clancy Milwaukee County Supervisor Ryan Clancy was at it again, displaying his contempt for police, this time by attempting to troll the Jackson, Wisconsin, Police Department's Facebook page. But instead, Ryan looked like a clown as he confused Jackson, Wisconsin, with Jackson, Mississippi. In a Facebook post in which Jackson, Wisconsin, Police were showing off their "Senior Class Pictures ", Clancy started his embarrassing trolling by saying, "Your department just took millions of dollars of ARPA money for “hazard pay” raises away from actual human needs, and you’re spending it on this? Not a good look." When Jackson Police suggested Clancy double-check his information, Clancy responded, "Which part, Jackson Police Department ? Did your city leadership actually invest in things which make the community bet...
